It is important to establish clear expectations throughout fieldwork rotations in order to facilitate a shared common foundation between fieldwork educators and students. It is vital that fieldwork educators and fieldwork students uphold both Northwestern Medicine (NM) Values and American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Ethics at all times. The below document was created to establish clear professionalism standards and promote accountability throughout fieldwork that these qualities are upheld.

Directions: During the first week of your student's fieldwork rotation, please sit down with your student, review these expectations, address questions or concerns that arise, and sign this document to reflect understanding of the content and an agreement to uphold professionalism at all times.
